The volume of the radio decreases or cannot
be increased further due to higher temperatures in the instrument
panel area |
| Cause: |
To avoid internal damages of the radio
device an integrated safety circuit prevents the temperature in the
device from exceeding a certain value and reduces the volume
automatically. |
| Production: |

Remedy:
In case of customer complaint inform customer that the described
behaviour is part of the overheating protection system of the EHU.
If the radio cooled down, all functions will be available
again.
Note: This self protection function is part of the complete
radio range as of the above mentioned model years. Due to the fact
that the described behaviour is according to specification,
replaced radios with this complaint will not be accepted by
warranty and will be sent back to the dealer.
