Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Fuel Injection Pump to Fuel Rail

Special Tools

EN-6368   Set of Plugs

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Close all open connections, use EN-6386   plugs .

4. Remove the fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M14 from the fuel rail (1).
5. Remove the fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M12 from the fuel injection pump (3).
6. Remove the fuel injection fuel feed pipe (2).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the fuel injection fuel feed pipe (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .
2. Install the fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M12 to the fuel injection pump (3) and tighten to 24 N·m (18 lb ft) .
3. Install the fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M14 to the fuel rail (1) and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft) .
4. Remove the EN-6386   plugs .
5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
6. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
