Removal Procedure

Remove the 2 fuel injector
bracket nuts (2). |
6. |
Remove the 2 fuel injector
conical washers (3). |
7. |
Remove the 2 fuel injector
spherical washers (4). |

Note: Injectors are
to be removed only in pairs. If the Injectors does not removed by
hand use the EN-46786 remover with the
EN-328-B sliding hammer .

Remove the 4 fuel Injectors
(1) with the 2 fuel injector brackets (7). |
9. |
Remove the 4 fuel injector
seals (5). |
10. |
Close the Injector nozzles
with the EN-48559 protective caps . |
11. |
Remove the 4 fuel injector
gaskets (6) from the camshaft housing. |
Installation Procedure
1. |
Clean the injector sealing
surfaces in the cylinder head using EN-47632
cleaning tool (1) in following procedure: |

1.1 |
First take the brush side to
loosen the dirt. |

1.2 |
Second take the sponge side to
remove the dirt. |
2. |
Install the 4 NEW fuel
injector gaskets (6) to the camshaft housing. |
3. |
Remove the EN-48559
protective caps from the Injector nozzles. |
4. |
Install the 4 NEW fuel
injector seals (5) to the fuel injectors. |
5. |
Install the 4 fuel injectors
(1) with the 2 fuel injector brackets (7). |
6. |
Install the 2 fuel injector
spherical washers (4). |
7. |
Install the 2 fuel injector
conical washers (3). |
8. |
Install the 2 fuel injector
bracket nuts (2) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb
ft) . |
