Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement (1.6L LLU)

1.	Unclip the engine control module and hang it aside.

2.	Remove the camshaft position sensor bolt (2).

3.	Remove the camshaft position sensor (3) from the cylinder head (1).

4.	Remove the seal (4).

1.	Insert a NEW seal (4).

2.	Install the camshaft position sensor (3) to the cylinder head (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

3.	Install the camshaft position sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in) .

4.	Clip in the engine control module.

5.	After the replacement of the camshaft position sensor, using a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset function. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup .
