Subject: Engine A16LET - Flow noise (vibrate) during deceleration

Insignia 2009...,Astra-J 2010...	A16LET,A16LET

Complaint:	Flow noise (vibrate) during deceleration.
Cause:	Delayed function of the bypass valve of the turbo charger due to: - Non return valve in vacuum tank (below intake manifold) leaky, decrease of vacuum.

Remedy:

In case of customer complaint the vacuum tank has to be checked.

Note: The mark "TOP" on the vacuum tank shows in this application 
      downwards.

It is possible to check all valves and vacuum pipes with a Kent Moore 
hand pump. If vacuucm doesn´t decrease the tested component is OK.

According to field feedback the test results with the hand pump 
partially did not lead to correct results.

In case of doubts about the testing result replace the vacuum tank 
and if required the vaccum line.

Note: In case of a defect vacuum tank, check software version 
      according TSB 2528 prior vacuum tank replacement.
