Draining Fluids and Oil Filter Removal

Remove the engine oil filter
cap (2) along with the engine oil filter cap seal ring (3) and the
oil filter element (1). |

Remove the oil pan drain plug
and allow the oil to drain out. |
| 3. |
Install the oil pan drain plug
and a NEW seal ring and tighten to 14 N·m (124 lb
in) . |
| 4. |
Install the engine oil filter
cap along with a NEW engine oil filter cap seal ring and a NEW oil
filter element. |
| 5. |
Tighten the engine oil filter
cap to 25 N·m (18 lb ft) . |
| 6. |
Remove the water pump drain
plug (1) and the water pump drain plug seal ring (2) and allow the
remaining coolant to drain out. |
| 7. |
Install the water pump drain
plug and a NEW seal ring and tighten to 15 N·m (11
lb ft) . |
