Exhaust Camshaft Removal

EN-46789 Camshaft Fixing Tool

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Note: Replacement of the exhaust camshaft is allowed for camshaft housing with plain bearings ONLY.

1.	Determine the type of the installed camshaft housing. Refer to Camshaft Housing Replacement .

2.	Install the EN-46789 fixing tool .

3.	Remove the exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt (2).

4.	Remove the exhaust camshaft sprocket (1).

5.	Remove the EN-46789 fixing tool .

6.	Remove the exhaust camshaft sealing ring (1).

7.	Remove the exhaust camshaft (2).
