Circuit/System Description

The main immobiliser function is performed as an interaction between several modules. The process that determines whether the engine may be engaged or not consists of several steps. When the immobilizer is active the indicator in the dashboard is flashing.

Circuit/System Testing

Ignition ON, perform the Instrument Cluster All Indicators test with the scan tool. Verify that the security indicator turns on and off.

⇒ If the indicator always stays on or off, replace the P16 Instrument Cluster.
