Install
Screw
new tie rod on to adjustment pin.
Note left and right versions of tie rods (Clamp bolt
is inserted from underneath - Illus. B 9617).
Screw in to same depth as tie rod end.
Fasten
both tie rods to steering gear and secure - observe prescribed torque.
Always use new spreading clamp to fasten lock
plate.
Adjust
toe-out (see operation in group E).
Note:
When
replacing both tie rods, always pay attention to left and right hand versions
of tie rods (clamp bolt is always inserted from underneath).
