Crash Sensor, Delay Switch
If the vehicle experiences an impact (e.g. in a collision), the locked system is automatically unlocked and deactivated for approx. 25 seconds (delay switch). The system then functions normally again.
Check of crash sensor: - Remove CDLS control unit. - Lock vehicle. - Switch on ignition. - Shake CDLS control unit vigorously (simulate impact). - Vehicle must be automatically unlocked. The CDLS is deactivated for approx. 25 seconds.
