Brake Disc, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove brake linings - see operation "Brake Linings, Remove and Install". Unscrew brake caliper guide pins and suspend brake caliper (see illus. I). If necessary, pull brake caliper outwards. Unscrew holder frame from steering knuckle. Remove detent screw (arrow) and remove brake disc from the wheel hub (see illus. II).  

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Place brake disc on wheel hub and fasten with detent screw (arrow) - tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft. Attach holder frame to steering knuckle - tightening torque 95 Nm / 70 lbf. ft.  

Object Number: 616201  Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

Ensure that there is no dirt between disc and hub and that the contact surfaces are smooth and free of burrs.

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Check brake linings, if necessary replace - see corresponding operation.
