Replace Interior Rear Panel (Partial Replacement) - Models F 08, F 08 & W5L, F 68

Note:   There are special "left" and "right" side dealer sections available for partial replacement. Only work that deviates from the operation "Inner Rear End Panel, Replace" is described.

  Remove

1.   Detach attaching parts 2.   Drill off inner rear end panel (partial replacement). 3.   Partial replacement, dealer's cuts, left and right side 1. Dealer section approx. 210 mm over centre of vehicle to the left 2. Dealer section approx. 210 mm over centre of vehicle to the right

  Install

4.   Adjust rear end panel (partial replacement) and fit •   Prepare flanges •   Apply spot-welding paint •   Weld in new part •   Seal body seams, apply underseal, apply preservative to cavity 5.   Attach rivet nuts to new component Note:   When replacing the inner rear end panel (partial replacement) of F 08 & W5L. 6.   Fit attaching parts
