Detach attaching parts
|

Drill roof away

Cut out roof in the area where roof bow is attached with
adhesive using thermal knife MKM-590-A
|

Install
|

Prepare and fit roof. Apply spot weld paint to roof flange.
Apply PU glass cement (1-component or 2-component for installing
glass panes) to roof strut (cement bead Ø 10 mm). Weld in
roof. Seal body seams.

Replace roof bow
Note: Aftersales
supplies the roof support as a single part. The roof supports are
fastened at the side with 2 spot welds.

Note: When replacing the
roof panelling PU glass cement (1-component or 2-component
adhesives) is applied to the flange of the roof strut as well as
the front and rear of the roof frame.
