"Blue and Silver" equipment variant The successful two-colour design concept is continued with the Corsa-C "Blue and Silver" variant. The base paint for the Blue and Silver equipment variant is the attractive two-coat mica paint, Ultra Blue. The limited edition model, which is available as a 3 or 5-door version, has body components deliberately painted in Silver Lightning to give an extravagant touch, and thereby also satisfies modern taste requirements which seek a more individual style. The components painted in Silver Lightning include the exterior mirror surrounds (3), the front and rear wheel arch trim (2 and 5), and the door handle recesses (1). Completing the picture are the front (4) and rear (6) panelling which are partly painted in Silver Lightning. The intentional sporty appearance has been emphasised even more by dispensing with the rubbing strips. The curved feature line at the vehicle waistline has also been visually enhanced and lends the Blue and Silver a striking appearance.
This special edition is powered by a 1.2 litre 55 kW Ecotec engine. The vehicle also features sports suspension, lowered by 20 mm (in conjunction with the 1.4 litre petrol or 1.7 litre diesel engines), a chrome exhaust tailpipe (in conjunction with the 1.2 litre Ecotec engines), electric windows, alloy wheels, size 6 J x 15, in 7-spoke styling with 185/55 R15 tyres, and dark tinted rear lights. The seat upholstery and door trim are in Piazza Blue. Blue leather trim is available as an option. An air conditioning system, with optional automatic climate control, and the CDR 2005 stereo radio/CD with steering wheel controls, ensure a feeling of well-being.
