Replace Retaining Plate for Inside Rear View

 Remove

If the retaining plates have become detached, separate the
retaining plate (1) from the rear view mirror

Press clamp (2) on rear view mirror and pull rear view mirror
downwards

|
Install
| 2. |
Clean windscreen in area to be cemented with glass cleaner.

| 3. |
Delineate the area for attaching the retaining plate with
adhesive on the windscreen with masking tape

Roughen the retaining plate slightly (grit size P 100) and
clean
|
|
| 4. |
Mix 2-component adhesive (part no. 90543242/catalogue no.
1504814) in accordance with the instructions and apply to the
retaining plate approx. 1 mm
thick.

Only press the retaining plate lightly onto the windscreen
|
