Front Seat Frame (Without Height Adjustment),
Remove and Install
 Remove

Disconnect battery

Disconnect battery and wait 1 minute until the capacitor has
discharged
|

Detach front backrest
Note: For folding front
seat
|
|
| 5. |
Detach upholstery covering
| • |
Remove upholstery covering/pad, front seat, from around the
edge of the front seat frame.
|
|
| 6. |
For front seat with seat heating:
| • |
Unclip seat heating (2) wiring harness from front seat frame
and release
|
| • |
Unclip cover (3) of central wiring harness plug
|
| • |
Open protective sheath (4) of wiring harness and expose wiring
harness
|
| • |
Unclip heater mat wiring harness plug (5) on the central front
seat wiring harness plug at the back and draw out
|
|
|
|
| 7. |
For Model F08:
| • |
Remove locking pin, rear backrest
|
|
|
Install
| 8. |
Attach upholstery/pad
| • |
Position upholstery covering/pad on the front seat frame
|
| • |
Attach upholstery covering/pad around the edge of the frame
|
|
| 9. |
For Model F 08:
| • |
Install locking pin, rear backrest
|
|
| 10. |
For front seat with seat heating:
| • |
Lay wiring harness for seat heating on front seat frame
|
|
| 11. |
Attach front seat backrest
Note: For folding front
seat

Attach heater mat wiring harness plug
| • |
Attach heater mat wiring harness plug to central wiring harness
plug, front seat
|
|
Important: Check the spacing of
the wiring harnesses to moving parts of the seat over the entire
adjustment range of the front seat.

Lay and fasten wiring harnesses
|
| 14. |
Close cover of central wiring harness plug
| • |
Close cover of wiring harness plug and attach protective sheath
of front seat wiring harness

Program volatile memories

Readiness check for airbag system
Note: After ignition
the airbag system readiness telltale illuminates for 4 seconds and
then goes out
|

For front seat - passenger's side - with seat occupancy
detection
| • |
Each time the seat covering is fitted to the passenger seat of
vehicles with seat occupancy detection, this must be tested (four
test stages)
