Handwheel, Front Seat Backrest with Shaft, Remove
and Install

The removal and installation of the front seat backrest with
shaft is identical for standard and sport seats
|
| 2. |
The Aftersales department retains the handwheel and shaft as
separate parts in the delivery programme.

Remove front seat panelling (seat adjuster) 
|
| 5. |
I Detach safety plug from shaft. Unclip hand wheel (1) for
front seat backrest with screwdriver and pull out of mount of front
seat backrest together with shaft (2).

Install
| 6. |
Set both front seat backrest adjusters to an angle of approx.
90 ° to the seat rail. Adjust marking (1) on the drive as shown
in the illustration. Insert actuating wheel for front seat backrest
with shaft
Note: I Secure shaft
with safety plug (2).

Install panelling for right and left side of front seat
|
| 8. |
Clip in actuating wheel for front seat backrest
Note: Hand wheel must
engage on front seat backrest seat adjuster
