Load Compartment Grille, Remove and Install (Model
F 08 & W5L).
 Remove

Remove C-pillar inner panelling

Remove load compartment floor covering
|
|
| 3. |
Remove load compartment grille
| • |
Release 2x bolt on rear quarter panel (1)
|
| • |
Unscrew and remove 2x bolt, load compartment grille, on load
compartment partition (2)
|
| • |
Unscrew and remove 2x bolt, partition bracket on inner rear
quarter panel (3)
|
| • |
Unscrew and remove 2x bolts on load compartment partition
(floor) (4)
|
|
| 4. |
Pull load compartment grille towards the rear with load
compartment partition
| • |
Unscrew and remove bolts on inner rear quarter panel (1) and
take out load compartment cover.
|

| 5. |
In the following countries, the load compartment grille is
secured with shear bolts:

| 6. |
For the removal of the load compartment grille, all the shear
bolts (arrows) must be released by hitting with chisel (1).

The following shear bolts are supplied by the Aftersales
division:

Note: The shear bolt 90
468 473 is for attaching partition bracket to rear quarter
panel

Install
|
| 8. |
Insert load compartment grille in load compartment partition
and slide into position ready to be screwed in
Note: Lay felt underlay
underneath between partition bracket and the attachment point on
the inner rear quarter panel.

Tighten 2x bolt (1) on the inside of the rear quarter panel
20 Nm
|
| • |
Tighten 2x bolts (2) on the floor for load compartment
partition 20 Nm
|
| • |
Tighten 2x bolt (3) of the bracket for the load compartment
partition on the inside of the rear quarter panel 20 Nm
|
| • |
Tighten 2x bolts (4) for load compartment grille on load
compartment partition 20 Nm
|
|
|
| 9. |
Install load compartment floor covering
|
| 10. |
Fit C-pillar inner panelling
|
