Water Drain Hose – Front, Replace
Note: The Aftersales
department maintains the rubber sleeve and the water drain hose
separately in the delivery programme.
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove moulded headlining (F 08, F 08 & W5L, f 68)

| 2. |
Remove water drain hose
| • |
Pull water drain hose (1) from plenum chamber pipe
|
| • |
Remove fastening plug (3)
|
| • |
Prise rubber grommet (4) out of the bottom of the A-pillar and
pull water drain hose with rubber grommet, complete, out of body
(A-pillar)

I Detach rubber grommet (5) from water drain hose (6)
|
|
|
Install
| 3. |
Install water drain hose
| • |
Connect rubber grommet to water drain hose
|
| • |
Guide water drain hose through A-pillar from the bottom up to
the discharge aperture in the inner roof area
|
| • |
Insert rubber grommet into bore in A-pillar
|
| • |
Connect water drain hose to connection on plenum chamber
Note: Check correct
seating and seal of all connections of rubber parts and the water
drain hose.
