Central Drive for ECC Air Distribution, Remove and
Install
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove pollen filter housing.
|
| 2. |
Remove glove compartment
|
| 3. |
Remove inner panelling, lower instrument panel padding,
passenger's side
|
| 4. |
Remove inner panelling, lower right centre instrument panel
padding
|
| 5. |
Remove air guide front footwell, passenger's side 
|
| 6. |
Remove heater fan motor
|
| 7. |
Detach GPS control unit bracket
Note: Only for vehicles
with CCRT 2008 radio.
|
|
| 8. |
Detach wiring harness plug for servo motor of recirculating air
valve (1)
| • |
Disconnect and remove wiring harness plug, servo motor of
recirculating air valve
|
| • |
Unclip wiring harness from guide (arrows) of recirculating air
valve housing
|
|
|
|
| 9. |
Press housing of recirculating air valve upwards out of the
guide in the air distributor housing (arrows)
|
|
|
| 10. |
Disconnect wiring harness plug, servo motor for air
distribution central drive (2)
| • |
Release and disconnect wiring harness plug
|
|
| 11. |
Remove servo motor, central drive of air distribution (1)
| • |
Unscrew 2x bolt (arrows)
|
|
| 12. |
Disconnect wiring harness plug for mixed air valve servo motor
(4)
| • |
Release and disconnect wiring harness plug
|
|
| 13. |
Remove servo motor, mixed air valve (3)
| • |
Unscrew 2x bolt (arrows)
|
|
|
|
| 14. |
Unclip central drive actuating levers (1) and (2) from air
valve levers.
|
| 15. |
Detach mixed air valve actuating lever (3) out of air
distribution central drive (arrow)
|
| 16. |
Release bracket for air distribution central drive switch (5)
and remove switch (4).
|
| 17. |
Detach central drive, air distribution, from air distributor
housing
| • |
Unscrew 3x bolt (arrow)
|
|
|
Install
|
| 18. |
Attach central drive, air distribution
Note: When attaching
air distribution central drive to air distributor housing, ensure
correct seating of the actuating lever (1) on footwell air vent
(2)
|
|
| 19. |
Insert bracket for air distribution central drive switch
|
| 20. |
Attach actuating lever for mixed air valve in central drive for
air distribution
|
| 21. |
Clip in actuating lever for central drive in lever for air
valves
|
| 22. |
Install mixed air valve servo motor.
|
| 23. |
Connect wiring harness, servo motor for mixed air valve
|
| 24. |
Install servo motor, central drive
|
| 25. |
Connect wiring harness, servo motor for central drive
|
| 26. |
Insert recirculating air valve housing
|
| 27. |
Connect wiring harness plug to recirculating air valve servo
motor
| • |
Clip wiring harness into guide on recirculating air valve
housing
|
|
| 28. |
Attach GPS control unit bracket
Note: Only for vehicles
with CCRT 2008 radio.

Install heater fan motor
|
| 30. |
Install passenger's side footwell air duct
|
| 31. |
Fit inner panelling for lower centre instrument panel padding
|
| 32. |
Fit inner panelling for lower instrument panel padding,
passenger's side
|
| 33. |
Install glove compartment
|
| 34. |
Install pollen filter housing
|
|
