Driving axis angle

The driving axis angle (1) is the angle between the axis of symmetry (3) and the bisectors (2) of the total toe angle of the rear axle. It is positive if the bisector is aligned to the front left. The driving axis angle is determined from the toe, lateral offset and oblique angle of the rear axle.

Note:   If the driving axis angle values lie in the positive or negative range outside the specified tolerance, the rear axle must be adjusted or aligned using the corresponding special tool.
