Wiring harness plug with lead ends

The assignment of repairable wiring harness plugs to crimping and release tools as well as parts and catalogue numbers can be found in the following tables.

Using the tables

  • Column 1 provides the code for the available wiring harness plug with lead ends. This code can be ascertained from the current circuit diagram.
    • Components with an "X" designation in the circuit diagrams include plugs and couplings, therefore they are distinguished by adding "a" for couplings and "b" for plugs.
    • If the code for the components is not included in the table, the complete wiring harness must be replaced.
  • Column 2 provides the handle colour for the crimping tools to be used.
  • Columns 3 and 4 indicate the release tools for the primary and secondary lock.
  • Empty fields for release tools mean that the plugs or couplings can be released either by hand or using a commercially available screwdriver.
  • Columns 5 and 6 contain the part and catalogue numbers for the wiring harness plugs with lead ends.
