ABOUT US
Remove and install thermostat housing (Z 12 XE, Z12 XEP Z 14 XEP with air conditioning LHD) > < Oil Cooler/Heat Exchanger, Replace (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)

Corsa C

Remove and install thermostat with coolant connection (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP, without air conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Drain coolant
Note:   With model variant "ECO" - remove lower engine compartment cover LUREF_1.gif
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
•   Open drain bolt (arrow)

3.   Detach upper coolant hose (2) from coolant connection
•   Release clamp
4.   Detach coolant connection (1)
•   Unscrew 3 bolts

  Install

5.   When replacing components, note the different designs! Ensure the part and list numbers are correct.
6.   Clean sealing surfaces
•   Coolant pump, coolant pipe
7.   Install coolant connection
•   Replace gasket
•   Tighten 3x bolts 8 Nm

8.   Connect upper radiator hose
•   Fasten clamp
9.   Close coolant drain bolt
10.   Fill and bleed cooling system LUREF_1.gif
Note:   With "ECO" model variant - install lower engine compartment cover LUREF_1.gif
11.   Close bonnet

Remove and install thermostat housing (Z 12 XE, Z12 XEP Z 14 XEP with air conditioning LHD) > < Oil Cooler/Heat Exchanger, Replace (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)
