ECOService-Flex flexible maintenance intervals

From MY 2004, the Corsa-C will feature the "ECOService-Flex" flexible maintenance interval system, already familiar from the Meriva. The engine oil change intervals are thereby dependent on the customer's driving profile.

Factors taken into account when calculating the next oil change interval are:

  • Distance covered
  • Engine speed
  • Engine torque
  • Driving cycles
  • Coolant temperature
  • Oil temperature

Under optimum driving conditions, the engine oil is changed every 2 years and 35,000 km on petrol engines or 50,000 km on diesel engines.
