Crankshaft guide bearing, DOHC gasoline engines

The crankshaft guide in DOHC-0 gasoline engines will change as of model year 2004.5.

The lower crankshaft guide bearing will be replaced with a crankshaft sliding bearing.

Crankshaft guiding will be taken over by the upper crankshaft guide bearing.

•  Service:
The installation location of the guide bearing in the cylinder block must be noted during service work. The guide bearing must be installed in the cylinder block.
