Repair engine using a short block (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP, without air conditioning) > < J740600 Replace intake air temperature sensor (Z 14 XE, Z 16 YNG with AC, RHD)

Corsa C

Check engine oil pressure (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP)

Note:   Engine warmed up (oil temperature at least 80°C).

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove oil pressure switch
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
3.   Attach KM-498-B
4.   Check engine oil pressure
•   Start engine.
•   Engine oil pressure approx. 150 kPa (1,5 bar) at idling speed
•   Switch off engine
5.   Detach KM-498-B

  Install

6.   Attach oil pressure switch to cylinder head 20 Nm
•   Replace seal ring
•   Connect wiring harness plug
7.   Check engine oil level and correct if necessary
8.   Close bonnet
