Check engine for leaks (amount of CO in coolant) (Z 14 XE, Z 16 YNG) > < Remove and install engine (Z 12 XE, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP, with air conditioning, MTA)

Corsa C

Measure oil temperature (Z 14 XE, Z 16 YNG)

1. Open bonnet

 Object Number: 2410708 Size: DEFAULT

2. Remove oil dipstick

3. Insert measuring probe

  • Insert probe into oil dipstick guide tube until approx. 1 cm above bottom of oil pan
  • Seal opening of oil dipstick guide tube with accompanying rubber plug

4. Measure oil temperature

  • using MKM-596-A
  • Note: The oil temperature depends on the engine load. High ambient temperatures and engine loads can lead to oil temperatures of up to approx. 150 °C.

5. Remove measuring probe.

6. Insert oil dipstick.

7. Close bonnet
