Check engine oil pressure (Z 14 XE without AC,
LHD, Z 16 YNG)
- Conditions: Engine at operating temperature (oil temperature
min. 80 °C)

1. Open bonnet
2. Raise vehicle
3. Disconnect oil pressure switch wiring harness plug
4. Remove oil pressure switch
- Disconnect wiring harness plug
- Place collecting basin underneath.
5. Attach KM-498-B
6. Lower vehicle
7. Check engine oil pressure
- Start engine.
- Engine oil pressure approx. 150 kPa (1.5 bar) at idling
speed
- Switch off engine
8. Raise vehicle

9. Detach KM-498-B
10. Install oil pressure switch
- Replace seal ring
- Tighten oil pressure switch (30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft.)
- Connect wiring harness plug.
11. Lower vehicle
12. Check and correct engine oil level
- Observe specified engine oil quantity
13. Close bonnet
