J316800 Oil Pump Pressure Regulating Valve, Remove and Install (Z 18 XE, with Air Conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Raise vehicle
3.   Remove oil pump pressure regulating valve (1)
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
•   Remove bolt
•   Remove spring (3), piston (2)

  Install

4.   Inspect components
•   Pistons, springs,
•   Check for ease of movement.
5.   Install oil pump pressure regulating valve
•   Replace seal ring (4)
•   Insert piston spring
– Coat with engine oil
•   Tighten bolt (5) 50 Nm
6.   Lower vehicle
7.   Check and correct engine oil level
8.   Close bonnet
