Solenoid Valve > < Camshaft Sensor, Replace (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)

Charge Pressure Sensor, Replace (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
Important:   In vehicles as of model year 04 with ESP - every time the battery is disconnected, the steering angle sensor loses its basic setting and must be recalibrated
2.   Disconnect battery
•   Detach ground cable
3.   Remove air intake hose (1)

4.   Detach outer fuel return line
•   Unscrew banjo bolt
•   Unscrew nut

5.   Loosen vacuum control valve, exhaust gas recirculation (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug
•   Remove bolt
•   Unscrew stud bolts
6.   Remove charge pressure sensor (2)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug
•   Remove bolt

  Install

7.   Install charge pressure sensor
•   Replace seal ring
•   Tighten bolt 9.8 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness plug
8.   Attach vacuum control valve, exhaust gas recirculation
•   Tighten bolt
•   Tighten stud bolts
•   Connect wiring harness plug
9.   Attach outer fuel return line
•   Tighten banjo bolt 14.7 Nm
10.   Install air intake hose.
11.   Connect battery
12.   Program volatile memory
13.   Close bonnet
