Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor > < Replace throttle valve module (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP, without air conditioning, LHD)

Corsa C

Replace throttle valve module (Z 12 XE, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP, with air conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove suction pipe (4)
•   Unscrew 2 nuts
•   Detach engine vent hose from cylinder head (5)
•   For Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP: detach air intake hose
– Release clamp
•   Disconnect 2 wiring harness plugs
– Hot film mass air flow sensor (2), tank vent valve (1)
•   Remove hot film mass air flow meter (3)
– Release 2x clamp

3.   Disconnect throttle valve module (2) wiring harness plug
4.   Detach 2 throttle valve module preheater hoses (3, 4)
•   Release 2x clamp
5.   Detach throttle valve module
•   Unscrew 4x bolt (1)
6.   Clean sealing surfaces

  Install

7.   Install throttle valve module
•   Replace gasket
•   Tighten 4 bolts 7 Nm
8.   Attach 2 throttle valve module preheater hoses
•   Tighten 2 clamps
9.   Connect throttle valve module wiring harness plug
•   Switch ignition on for 30 seconds (without engine running)
10.   Install suction pipe
•   Install hot film mass air flow meter
– Secure 2x clamp
•   Connect 2 wiring harness plugs
– Hot film mass air flow meter, tank vent valve
•   For Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP: attach air intake hose
– Tighten clamp 3.5 Nm
•   Attach engine vent hose
– Fasten clamp
•   Tighten 2 nuts 8 Nm
11.   Check and correct coolant level
12.   Close bonnet
