Pulse Pick-Up > < Replace pedal travel sensor (Z 12 XE, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP, with air conditioning, LHD)

Corsa C

Replace injectors (one valve or all valves) (Z 12 XE, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP, with air conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Disconnect battery
Note:   In vehicles as of model year 04 onwards with ESP - the steering angle sensor loses its basic adjustment each time the battery is disconnected, and must be recalibrated
•   Detach ground cable
3.   Remove suction pipe
•   Detach engine vent hose (3)
•   Remove air intake hose (1)
•   Unscrew 2 nuts (2)
•   For Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP: detach air intake hose
– Release clamp

4.   Disconnect 5 cable management wiring harness plugs
•   Throttle valve module (2), injection valves (3)
•   For Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP: remove fuel rail cover
– Unscrew 2 bolts

Important:   Observe safety precautions and national regulations
5.   Release fuel pressure with KM-J-34730-91
•   Unscrew test connection protective cap (2) from fuel rail (1)
Note:   Test connection is on top of fuel rail in Z 10 XEP

6.   Detach fuel line (2) with KM-796-A
•   Unclip fuel line
•   Seal using KM-807
7.   Detach throttle valve module
Note:   Cooling system remains closed
•   Unscrew 4x bolt (1)
8.   Remove fuel rail (3)
•   Unscrew 2 bolts

9.   Detach 4 injectors
•   Remove 4 retaining clamps (2)
•   Replace 8 injector seal rings (1)

  Install

10.   Attach injectors
•   Insert injectors
•   Attach retaining clips
Note:   Note installation position. Groove in retaining clamp must engage with injector lug (arrow)
11.   Install fuel distributor pipe
•   Tighten 2 bolts 6 Nm
12.   Clean sealing surfaces
13.   Install throttle valve module
•   Replace gasket
•   Tighten 4 bolts 7 Nm
14.   Attach fuel line
•   Remove KM-807
•   Attach fuel line
Note:   Connection must audibly engage
•   Attach fuel line

15.   Connect 5 engine management wiring harness plugs
•   For Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP: attach fuel rail cover
– Tighten 2 bolts
16.   Attach engine vent hose
•   Fasten clamp
17.   Install suction pipe
•   Replace seal ring
•   Tighten 2 nuts 8 Nm
•   Attach engine vent hose
•   Install suction hose
•   For Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP: attach air intake hose
– Tighten clamp 3.5 Nm
18.   Connect battery
19.   Program volatile memory
20.   Close bonnet
