Easytronic emergency run program
Note: The task of the
emergency run program is as far as possible to ensure the
functionality of the vehicle. In the event of an error, this
happens without it being critical for the driver. In the event of
errors relating to certain signals, it is sufficient to consult
replacement/reference values, for other signals and insofar as the
Easytronic system is not present, an emergency program is activated
or the vehicle shuts down. The following sections describe how the
vehicle behaves during the active emergency run program. Errors are
distinguished between errors stored in the error memory and errors
not stored in the error memory.
1. Emergency running program "Gearbox actuator
shut down"
- It is no longer possible to change gear.
- The gear selected at the time the fault occurs remains
active.
- The clutch is opened if an attempt is made to change gear.
2. Emergency run program "Shutdown clutch actuator
and gearbox actuator"
- The clutch actuator is stuck in the current position.
- It is no longer possible to change gear.
- The gear selected at the time the fault occurs remains
active.
- Continuation results in the engine stalling.
- The clutch "slips" during heavy braking.
3. Emergency run program "Torque tracking off"
- Because the torque tracking is no longer present, the clutch
runs in the positions "fully open" or "fully closed" only. During
normal operation, the position of the clutch always depends on the
actual engine torque (clutch characteristic value line
torque/direction). If the vehicle is in manual shift mode, the
reaction to the desired manual shift lasts somewhat longer than
normal.
4. Emergency run program "Hill detection off"
- Hill detection via the software is no longer available (uphill
or downhill), otherwise normal operation is possible. In hilly
areas the vehicle changes gear more often than normal.
5. Emergency run program "Clutch adaptation
off"
- Contact point and friction value adaptation is switched off by
the "Clutch adaptation off" emergency run program. It is then
possible that the clutch contact point starts to wander and is not
tracked by the software. This can be detrimental to driving
comfort. During normal driving there is a cyclic adaptation of the
parameters.
6. Emergency run program "Emergency run 1"
- Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear takes place very early.
- Switching from 2/3 and 3/4 above 4700 rpm (for Corsa
1.2L).
- Switching from 2/3 and 3/4 above 5500 rpm (for Corsa
1.0L).
- Selection of 5th gear is prevented.
- All reverse gear selections are very late (shortly before idle
running)
- Only automatic mode is active, manual gear change
inactive.
7. Emergency run program "Emergency run 2"
- Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear takes place very early.
- Shifting between 2/3 and 3/4 above 4000 rpm.
- Selection of 5th gear is prevented.
- All reverse gear selections are very late (shortly before idle
running)
8. Emergency run program "Gear lever emergency
run"
- If the selector lever sends implausible signals when the
vehicle is in motion (serial and/or redundant), the procedure is as
follows: as long as the speed of the vehicle is less than x km/h
(currently 5 km/h), the old selector lever is retained. Below this
speed threshold, "N" is specified. The purpose of this emergency
running program is to bring the vehicle to a standstill safely. The
control unit does not detect any valid selector lever signals and
"N" is then the only safe position ("F" in the display).
