Replace transmission housing (F23) > < Transmission Housing, Replace (F17 new)

Corsa C

Transmission Housing, Replace (F17+)

  Remove

Object Number: 2403661 Size: DEFAULT

1.   Remove transmission
2.   Attach transmission to KM-113-2
•   Attach transmission to KM-6115 (2)
•   Attach transmission with KM-6115 to KM-113-2 (1)
3.   Detach left engine damping block support
•   Remove 3x bolts

4.   Remove clutch module with MTA control unit (F13 MTA/ F17+ MTA only)
5.   Remove clutch module bracket (F13 MTA/ F17+ MTA only) LUREF_1.gif
6.   Remove shift cover (2)
Note:   Transmission in idle position.
•   F13/F17/F17 new/F17+
•   F13 MTA/F17+ MTA
7.   Remove reversing lamp switch (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug for reversing lamp switch
•   Unscrew reversing lamp switch
8.   Remove end shield cover (4)
9.   Remove end shield (3)
•   Remove KM-6155

10.   Remove differential
Object Number: 2414208 Size: DEFAULT

11.   Remove central release (5)
12.   Remove transmission housing pressure line (4) for central release and pressure line sleeve (3) LUREF_1.gif
13.   Remove bearings for main shaft (2) and drive shaft (1) in transmission housing

14.   Remove axle shaft seal ring
15.   Remove transmission housing from KM-6115

  Install

16.   Attach transmission housing to KM-6115

17.   Install bearings for main (2) and drive shaft (1) LUREF_1.gif
18.   Install differential
•   Please follow differential gear tapered roller bearing adjusting instructions
19.   Install transmission housing pressure line (4) for central release and pressure line sleeve (3) LUREF_1.gif
20.   Install central release (5)

21.   Install end shield (1)
Note:   Observe the magnet
22.   Install end shield cover (2)
23.   Install gearshift cover (3)
•   F13/F17/F17 new/F17+
•   F13 MTA/F17+ MTA
24.   Install reversing lamp switch (4)
•   insert with new seal ring
•   Tighten reversing lamp switch 20 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness plug

25.   Fit axle shaft seal rings
26.   Install clutch module bracket (F13 MTA/ F17+ MTA only) LUREF_1.gif
27.   Install clutch module with MTA control unit (F13 MTA/ F17+ MTA only)
Object Number: 2403661 Size: DEFAULT

28.   Attach left engine damping block support
•   Tighten 3x bolt 55 Nm
29.   Detach transmission from KM-113-2
•   Detach transmission with KM-6115 (2) from KM-113-2 (1)
•   Detach transmission from KM-6115
30.   Install transmission
31.   Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct
•   F13/F 17/F17 new/F17+
•   F13 MTA/F17+ MTA
32.   Check ease of gear shifting
•   with vehicle standing
•   with engine running
•   with clutch disengaged

Replace transmission housing (F23) > < Transmission Housing, Replace (F17 new)
