Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct (F
23)
Note: Account must be
taken of the fact that the transmission fluid level may always be
below the checking aperture – up to approx. 20 mm . The transmission fluid level need only
be checked after external leaks and repair/maintenance work on the
transmission and corrected if necessary.
Remove
1. |
Check fluid level
• |
Unscrew fluid checking bolt (1)
Note: Transmission must
be topped up to lower edge of checking aperture. If necessary,
correct fluid level.

Correct fluid level

Unscrew topping-up bolt (1)
|
• |
Top up transmission fluid until it escapes at the checking
aperture
Note: Fluid filling
quantity after transmission repair approx. 1.55 litres

Install

Install topping-up bolt
• |
Tighten topping-up bolt (1) 35
Nm
|
|
|
|
4. |
Install fluid checking bolt
• |
Tighten fluid checking bolt (1) 35
