| Complaint: |
The following failure modes are complained:
1. Incorrect fuel gauge/ refill quantity is too less. 2. Engines
stalled altrough enough fuel is in the tank. |
| Cause: |
Fuel tank not ventilated because of fuel
filler cap without ventilation. |
| Production: |
Introduction of fuel tank assemblies with
ventilation through the filler cap within MY 2005. |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint check fuel tank for any
deformation and ensure that ventilated fuel filler cap is installed
(partno.: 13 140 958 / catalogueno.: 08 08 131). The picture I,
arrows shows the current (OK) cap with ventialtion.
