Xenon Starter Unit, Remove and Install
 Remove
Warning: High Voltage! Do not touch
components of the xenon low beam when low beam is switched on.
Ignition and light switch OFF. The central wiring harness plug for
the headlamps must be disconnected.

Remove headlamp
|
| 2. |
Remove Xenon ignition module

Untwist and remove high beam cover flap
|
| • |
Release and remove Xenon lamp cover flap
|
|
| 3. |
Twist off Xenon starter unit (1) and remove from housing with
wiring harness
|

|
Install
| 4. |
Install Xenon ignition module
| • |
Insert Xenon starter unit with wiring harness in housing
|
| • |
Connect starter unit to Xenon bulb and engage
|
| • |
Refit Xenon bulb cover flap
|
| • |
Twist on high beam cover flap
|
|
