Brake Disc of the Rear Wheel Brake, Replace

Note:   The brake pads must be removed to remove the brake discs of the rear wheel brake. When replacing the brake discs, the brake pads must also be replaced.


In general, always replace both brake discs on one axle.

  Remove

1.   Detach rear wheel
2.   Remove brake pads
3.   Detach brake carrier
4.   Detach brake disc (1)
•   Unscrew bolt (2)

  Install

5.   Attach brake disc
•   Clean mating surfaces between brake disc and wheel hub
Note:   Ensure that the contact surfaces are plane and free from burrs.
•   Tighten bolt 7 Nm
6.   Fit rear wheel 110 Nm
7.   Actuate brake pedal repeatedly
8.   Top up brake fluid to "MAX" mark
9.   Parking Brake, Adjust
