Replace all pistons with con-rods > < Piston Rings, Replace

Corsa D

Replacing one piston / con-rod

  Remove

1.   Remove piston rings
2.   Detach piston (3) from con-rod
•   Clamp piston (4)
Note:   Use protective jaws
•   Remove retainer (1)
•   Push out piston pin (2)

  Install

3.   Attach piston (2) to con-rod (3)
•   Marking on piston head (1) and con-rod (4) point towards each other
•   Push in piston pin (5)
– Coat piston pin with engine oil.
•   Insert new retainers (6) in ring groove of piston
Note:   Note position of ring joint. Ring joint must be within the range of measurement I (max. 30°)

4.   Attach piston rings

Replace all pistons with con-rods > < Piston Rings, Replace
