Engine, Remove and Install > < Resonator, Replace

Repair lower radiator fixing pin (Z 13 DTJ, Z 13 DTH, A 17 DTS, Z 17 DTR)

Note:   The work instruction "Repairing the Lower Radiator Mounting Pin (Z 13 DTJ, Z 13 DTH) was described using a Corsa D, on the right-hand side in the direction of travel. For the left-hand side, the procedure is similar.

  Remove

1.   Cooling System, Check for Leaks LUREF_1.gif
Note:   If the radiator has leaks, the entire radiator must be replaced.
2.   Grind fractured surfaces flat using a suitable tool
Object Number: 10678748  Size: DEFAULT


3.   Drill a hold completely through the centre of the fractured surface
•   Hole diameter: 8 mm
Important:   Protect coolant filling connector against damage using a suitable object (1)
4.   Drill side hole at least 30 mm deep
•   Hole diameter: 5 mm

  Install

5.   Install new radiator pin
•   The recess of the radiator pin (1) must align with the hole (2)
•   Tighten bolt (3) 3.5 Nm

Engine, Remove and Install > < Resonator, Replace
