Replace left engine damping block > < Right Engine Damping Block, Remove and Install

Replace left engine damping block

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove battery support.
3.   Install engine hoist
4.   Suspend engine
•   Unclip wiring harness plug (2)
•   Unclip wiring harness (1)
•   Position the chain case above the engine transport tab
•   Suspend hook (3) in engine transport tab (4)
•   Tension the chain by rotating the hex of the chain case

5.   Remove left engine damping block
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
Object Number: 10679236 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

6.   Install left engine damping block
•   Tighten 2 bolts (2)
– Tightening torque 80 Nm .
•   Tighten 2x bolt (1)
– Tightening torque 80 Nm + 45°
Note:   Use new bolts.

7.   Detach engine hoist
8.   Install battery holder
9.   Program volatile memories
10.   Close bonnet

Replace left engine damping block > < Right Engine Damping Block, Remove and Install
