Ribbed V-Belt|Specifications > < Replace ribbed V-belt tensioner

Replace auxiliary drive

  Remove

1.   Remove air cleaner housing LUREF_1.gif
2.   Remove right engine splash guard
3.   Detach ribbed V-belt
•   Mark direction of rotation
•   Tighten ribbed V-belt tensioner (1) counter-clockwise and fix with KM-6130
Remove ribbed-V-belt
Object Number: 2412843  Size: DEFAULT


4.   Lock crankshaft
•   Attach KM-6625
Remove bolted connection (1)
Insert KM-6625 (2)
Tighten bolted connection (3)
Object Number: 9007701  Size: DEFAULT


5.   Detach torsional vibration damper (3)
•   Unscrew bolt (4)
6.   Detach ribbed V-belt tensioning device (1)
•   Unscrew bolt (2)
Ribbed V-belt tensioning device remains locked with KM-6130
Object Number: 3446322  Size: DEFAULT


  Install

7.   Attach ribbed V-belt tensioner (2)
•   Tighten bolt 50 Nm
8.   Fit torsional vibration balancer
•   Tighten bolt 95 Nm + 45° +15°
Use new bolt
9.   Remove KM-6625
•   Remove bolted connection
•   Tighten screwed joint 40 Nm
Use new nut
10.   Install ribbed V-belt (1)
Note:   Observe direction of rotation.
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow (counter-clockwise)
•   Position ribbed V-belt
•   Remove KM-6130 (3)

11.   Attach engine splash guard
12.   Lower vehicle
13.   Install air cleaner housing LUREF_1.gif
