Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct
(AF13-II)
Note: Prior to fluid
level check: Let engine run in idle for one minute with selector
lever in "P" position. Shift selector lever once through all
positions from "P" to "1" and then back again.
Prior to and during fluid level check, selector lever must be in
"P" position with engine running.
Remove

Measure transmission fluid temperature with TECH 2

Install
2. |
Top up transmission fluid to respective upper mark
|
3. |
If the transmission is cold (below + 35 °C fluid
temperature, within one minute of engine idling) the correct fluid
level must be between the marks on the dipstick side labelled "MIN
+20 °C".

If the transmission is at operating temperature (approx. 80
°C – after driving approx. 20 km) the correct fluid level
must be between the marks on the dipstick side labelled "MAX +80
°C"
