Axle Shaft Seal Rings and O Ring in Left Sealing Flange, Replace (M20/M20 MTA/M32) > < Special Service Tools

Replace axle shaft seal rings (F13+/F13+ MTA/F17+)

  Remove

1.   Remove affected axle shaft from transmission LUREF_1.gif .
2.   Remove affected axle shaft seal ring
•   Pull axle shaft seal ring out of transmission housing with KM-J-7004 (1) and KM-586 (2)

  Install

3.   Install new axle shaft seal ring
•   Coat new axle shaft seal ring with transmission fluid
•   Drive in flush with KM-446 (1)

4.   Install axle shaft in the transmission LUREF_1.gif
5.   Check transmission fluid level and correct if necessary
•   F13+/F17+
•   F13+ MTA
