Tie rod end lock nut to tie rod

Steering gear to front axle body

Steering wheel to steering shaft

Steering column assembly to steering crossmember

Steering intermediate shaft to steering pinion (steering gear) lower clamp bolt

Steering intermediate shaft to steering pinion (steering gear) upper clamp bolt

Steering intermediate shaft to steering shaft (steering column) clamp bolt

Tie rod (axial joint) to steering gear rack

Tie rod joint end to steering knuckle

1 ) Observe tightening sequence
2 ) Use new fastening bolts, new washers and new self-locking nuts
3 ) Re-cut thread in steering shaft and insert bolt with locking compound
4 ) Use new self-locking nut
5 ) Re-cut thread and insert clamp bolt with locking compound
6 ) Re-cut thread in axial joint, clean thread on tie rod and attach axial joint with locking compound
