Front Guide, Replace

Remove

Remove operating unit - see operation "Operating Unit, Replace".

Remove water deflector panel (gutter) - see operation "Water Deflector Panel (Gutter), Replace".

Unscrew crank drive from operating unit.

Pull plug from end of roof guide.

Pull guide part assembly from continuous roof guide.

Remove front guide from slide block guide.

Remove retaining ring from bolt and remove front guide from slide block guide.

1     Retaining ring (on outside)

2     Bolt (on inside)

3     Spring clip

X    Slide block with connecting rod (part of front guide)

Install

Lightly grease sliding surfaces of slide block (high pressure grease).

Mount front guide to slide block guide.

Push in bolt from inside outwards and fix retaining ring to outside end of bolt.

Insert slide block in lower groove of roof guide.

Push guide part assembly into roof guide until lever catches in roof guide recess.

Push cable guide in until centre of guide bolt aligns with adjustment notch.

1     Lever caught in recess

2     Guide bolt

3     Adjustment notch

Place plug on end of roof guide.

Adjust crank drive - see operation "Crank Drive, Adjust" - and install.

Install water deflector panel (gutter) - see operation "Water Deflector Panel (Gutter), Replace".

Install operating unit - see operation Operating Unit, Replace".
