· Trouble
code 51 is only present when the control unit is in delivery condition.
It does not indicate that a fault is present, but ensures that the system
telltale remains activated when a control unit is installed in a vehicle
until the control unit has been correctly programmed.
During programming, the
control unit is informed of whether it is installed in a vehicle with an
airbag system with one deployment circuit (driver only) or with two
deployment circuits (driver and co - driver).
