Notes on Trouble - shooting:

Nominal Value:

Cause of Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

·   Ignition ON

System telltale ON

Corsa - B only:

·   Fuse Fl7 defective.

Astra - F only:

·   Fuse F7 defective.

Vectra / Cavalier, Calibra only:

·   Fuse F2 defective.

Omega - B only:

·   Fuse Fl 5 defective.

All Vehicles:

·   Telltale H23 defective.

·   Lead interruption

from: ignition lock S1 Ter. 15

to:      telltale H23

·   Inspect wiring harness plugs for airbag control unit X90 (short circuit bridge Ter. 9 to Ter. 10)

·   Fault in wiring harness between instrument and airbag control unit (see following checks)

·   Insert Adapter KM - 609 - 9 from Electronic Kit I on wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 in slot under Ter. 9 and Ter. 10 (short circuit bridge open)

System telltale OFF

Corsa - B only:

·   Short circuit to ground

from: instrument wiring harness plug X17 Ter. 10

to:      wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

Astra - F, Vectra / Cavalier, Calibra only:

·   Short circuit to ground

from: instrument wiring harness plug X22 Ter. 2

to:      wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

Omega - B only:

·   Short circuit to ground

from: instrument wiring harness plug Ter. 3

to:      wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

·   Measure voltage:

     from:          wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

            to:   ground

higher than 11 V

Corsa - B only:

·   Lead interruption

from: instrument wiring harness plug Xl 7 Ter. 10

to:      wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

Astra - F, Vectra / Cavalier, Calibra only:

·   Lead interruption

from: instrument wiring harness plug X22 Ter. 2

to:      wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

Omega - B only:

·   Lead interruption

from: instrument wiring harness plug Ter. 3

to:      wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

·   Ignition OFF

·   Measure voltage:

from: wiring harness plug for airbag control unit X90 Ter. 9

to:      ground

·   Short circuit in wiring harness
