Grease missing in door locks.
Cause:
Missing grease in locking pawl area and between door lock and
door frame.
Production Solution:

Remedy:
Application of grease into door locks.
Working procedure:
1. Fill syringe with grease.
2. Open the respective door.
3. Block locking mechanism of the door lock with a
screwdriver.
4. Place application needle of syringe between door lock
cover

Picture II shows a removed door lock to describe the
correct location for grease application.
There is no need to remove the door lock to carry out the
remedy.
Note:
Ensure that the syringe needle is entered to a depth of
35 mm (Pic. II) until the front of the yellow plastic part is in line
with the upper and innermost edge of the latch cut-out in the door frame and
that the diagonal opening of the needle is pointing downwards.

5. Inject approximately 0.3 - 0.4 ml of grease and
withdraw syringe.
6. Unlock locking mechanism of the door lock (remove
screwdriver).
7. Unscrew all 3 door lock bolts by 1 to 2 turns.
8. Place application needle of syringe between door outer
panel and door lock cover panel as shown in picture III.

9. Inject approximately 0.2 ml of grease and withdraw
syringe.
10. Tighten all 3 door lock bolts with a torque of 8 Nm.
11. Close door.
12. Carry out remedy on other doors.
