·   Pump motor runs for longer than 5 s without pump motor relay being actuated by control unit.

·   Pump motor is still not running 60 ms after actuation of pump motor relay by control unit.

·   If the response persists for longer than 100 ms after actuation is cancelled (run - on monitor).

Effects:

·   The ABS is switched off

·   The ABS telltale is switched on
